I draw my ideas mainly from Prehistory, mysterious patterns and symbols which inform us of the spiritual importance the natural world held for our ancestors.
My Prints are brightly coloured semi-abstract collographs which attempt to capture something of the 'Spirit of Place', whilst monochrome lino-prints journey into a more imaginative narrative.
My Ceramics fall into two areas at the moment. Handbuilt vessels using a dry turquoise stoneware glaze and more recently a range of glossy handpainted earthenware.
