The pieces I make are hand-built using red earthenware clay, and decorated using coloured slips and glazes.

Hand building is a slow process and no two pieces are ever the same. The shape and form of the finished work is very important to me.

When the kiln is opened after the final firing, the excitement and anticipation at seeing the completed piece never ceases. I hope that when people see my work they will want to pick it up and feel it in their hands.
