David Robinson

I studied History of Art at Leeds University, then worked as a teacher, film-maker, musician and cartoonist. From 1990 I taught Film and Animation, full-time, at Falmouth College of Art and in 1996 left teaching to develop my business producing information films. I now concentrate on running my Band, Funny Feathers, playing jazz and blues from the 1930s.

My work includes images based on photography as well as pictures hand-drawn in traditional media and on the computer. Unusually this can involve stereoscopy where both left and right eye images are embedded in the work. Viewers can experience these pictures as spatial phenomena as well as two-dimensional designs.
