Anne Boss
I come from a large creative family with a strong textile background. Until 1997 my own creative gene remained unexplored. Then in 1998, I returned to college as a mature student following fine art studies and textiles. Since then I have continued drawing, painting and printing.
Although my art recently has been experimentally figurative, I have also moved into landscape painting. With my textile background, I am drawn toward thick paint and strong colour which reminds me of the tactile quality of woven fabric.
